Should and Shouldn't for Avocado

Why You Avoid Avocado
Avocados are high in fat (half of one has 14.8 grams).

Why You Shouldn’t Avoid Avocado
The “fat” number may seem on the high side, but avocados actually boast a lot of monounsaturated “good” fat, which means that they can help decrease the risk of heart disease when eaten in moderation.
They’ve also been found to help prevent certain kinds of oral cancers.“Slice a quarter of an avocado on your salad, mix it with salsa for a flavorful dip or use it as a sandwich spread for a 75-calorie nutritional bonus,” says Sari Greaves, R.D., C.D.N., who represents the American Dietetic Association. “They’re also a good source of potassium, an important mineral for regulating blood pressure.”
